Video call apps have become one of the most popular ways to earn from home in India. If you enjoy talking to people, you can join an app as a host, receive calls and gifts, and get paid every week. In this guide we explain exactly how it works, how much you can realistically earn, and how to start safely.
How Do Video Call Apps Pay Hosts?
Most host apps use a simple system:
- Users buy coins inside the app.
- They spend coins on video calls and gifts with hosts.
- The host receives those coins as earnings (often shown as diamonds).
- The app converts the host's coins into money at a fixed rate and pays out on a regular schedule.
On SalsaHost the rate is fixed and public: 650 coins = $1. You can see the full salary chart for every withdrawal level.
Ways to Earn on SalsaHost
- One-to-one match video calls — 60 coins for every match call longer than 15 seconds.
- Private video calls — 120 coins for every minute.
- Gifts — users can send gifts worth 30 to 5000 coins.
How Much Can You Earn?
Earnings depend on how many hours you are online, how friendly and engaging you are, and how many repeat callers you build. As an example, 20 private-call minutes a day equals 2,400 coins. Over a week that is about 16,800 coins — and gifts come on top. The minimum withdrawal is 19,500 coins ($30), and salary is paid weekly.
Be careful of anyone who promises a fixed, guaranteed income. Real earnings always depend on your activity.
